Once the setting, the wardrobe, and the lighting are settled upon, Mr. Egeli will begin a photo session. He will experiment with poses, whether sitting or standing. He will interact with the client, finding out what are his typical expressions, ways of standing, of sitting, of addressing the artist and ultimately the viewer of the portrait. Through this process, a pose is decided with the client.
